Give me a minute…

How often do we need just a moment to ourselves? How about an hour? Or a day? Spending time tuning in to what is going on for us can feel indulgent, particularly when we might lead very busy lives. However, it can often be time well spent and is actually a necessary part of living a complete life.

Some people might find meditation works for them. Or spending some time doing a mindfulness exercise. Some of us might go for a walk. Other people might need a helping hand in looking inwards. This is where I see a role for counselling. It isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you feel like spending some time on yourself in a safe, confidential way then counselling could be an option.
