Self Care

I’m not feeling too great today. Not sure exactly what is wrong but just a bit tired and light headed. At times like these it’s really important to practise what counsellors like to call ‘self care’. What this means for me at this moment in time is not expecting too much of myself and seeking help. On days like these it’s no good trying to get a lot done or putting too much pressure on yourself. You may need help with any duties and responsibilities that you’d hoped to get done. Fortunately my wife is looking after the kids and I’ve got a bit of time just to relax. Having this time can pay dividends in the long run and hopefully will help to get you back up and running and feeling more like your usual self as soon as possible. For everyone not feeling themselves at the moment the important thing to remember is that it’s ok. Get some rest if you can and go easy on yourself.
