Knowing yourself

I’ve had a revelation. I won’t go so far as to say that I’ve discovered the secret to life etc. but I feel like it’s a breakthrough. Knowing yourself and accepting WHO you are is the most transformative thing.

Imagine having the confidence to go into a room of new people with only a gentle worry about what will occur. Someone that knows themselves has that self-confidence that “Whatever happens, I’ll be ok”.

This confidence can come organically through what we demeaningly refer to as life-experience or wisdom. However, it can also come through the non-judgemental acceptance of a therapist.
